( hunter's identity withheld at the risk of being boycotted)
February 29, 2007
Realtors from Prudential and Webb Martin participated in a festive weekend at the 1 Carter and Stonehouse Estates, to kick off sales for the real estate projects. Face painting, carnival rides and deer hunting was part of the motivational seminar weekend.
Dorn Platz spokesman, who declined to be identified at the risk of being "boycotted" said, "it was a great family time. We've been receiving complaints about displaced deer that were venturing into downtown Sierra Madre, eating off tables at Lucky Baldwins, so what better way to kick off our sales campaign and the same time help the city by ridding the city of those pesky deer vermin".
The Sierra Madre Police Department said it was not aware of the illegal deer hunt and would not comment at the risk of being "boycotted".
Spokesmen Prudential and Webb Martin all declined comment at the risk of being "boycotted".
